Dean Morgan is a highly experienced Insurance Adviser with Level 5 Financial Advice qualification and over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. He has successfully led Dean Morgan Insurance Services Ltd for the past 39 years, building a reputation for providing trusted, client- focused insurance advice.
Dean is committed to delivering tailored insurance solutions that meet the unique needs and circumstances of each client. His approach is centred on providing quality advice, exceptional service, and fostering long-term relationships built on trust, transparency, and professionalism. His genuine passion for the insurance industry is reflected in the high standard of service provided by Dean Morgan Insurance Services.
Outside of work, Dean enjoys spending time with family and friends on his lifestyle property. He is also an accomplished showjumping competitor with a strong passion for horses. Dean actively prepares and competes with his showjumping horses at events throughout New Zealand, demonstrating the same dedication and commitment in his personal pursuits as he does in his professional career.
Diane Hanning – Personal Assistant

Diane is Dean’s trusted personal assistant and right–hand person, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to the business. With an impressive 46 years in the insurance industry, including 32 years working alongside Dean, Diane plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day–to–day running of the office.
As Dean’s full–time assistant, Diane is responsible for supporting clients, managing administration, and keeping operations running seamlessly. She takes great pride in providing exceptional service and ensuring clients‘ needs are met promptly and professionally. Diane is also the friendly voice that greets you when you call our office and is always happy to assist with any enquiries.
Outside of work, Diane enjoys spending quality time with her family and embracing life on her lifestyle block in Otorohanga with her husband. She is the proud mother of three adult sons and loves supporting them in their pursuits and interests. Diane also treasures the time she spends with her grandchildren, who bring her immense joy and happiness.

Karen is an Insurance Adviser and hold the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) in General Insurance. With over 25 years of experience across the London and New Zealand insurance markets, I have specialised in commercial, rural, and domestic insurance since 2015, providing clients with practical advice and tailored insurance solutions.
I am passionate about helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what matters most. I take the time to understand each client’s unique circumstances and work closely with them to provide confidence, clarity, and peace of mind when it comes to their insurance arrangements.
Known for my approachable nature, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional service, I believe in building long-term relationships founded on trust, integrity, and genuine care for my clients.
Outside of work, I enjoy life on a lifestyle block with my husband, two daughters, and a growing collection of animals. I also run a flower business and love spending time with family and exploring New Zealand’s outdoors.
